How is the process of buying a property with Estia?

Find a property
Step 01 is to find a property you like that has all the essentials you are looking for within your budget range. If you still need to determine your budget, contact us and we can assist you with that.
Apply for a viewing
Once you find one or more properties you are in love with, you can apply directly through our website and request that one of our agents help you in setting viewings. We can also help you in finding properties that match your search criteria, don’t hesitate to ask!
Make an offer
Once you find the perfect match, work with one of our agents in order to make an offer! We will assist you in providing all the necessary documentation to make this process as easy as possible. There might be some negotiation required, so it’s good that you have a capable and specialised assistance with it.
Preliminary Agreement and Deposit
Once you’ve chosen a property and verified its legal status, you’ll typically sign a preliminary agreement (often called a “Preliminary Contract” or “Memorandum of Understanding”) with the seller. At this stage, you may need to pay a deposit to secure the property.
Final Contract and Payment
After completing all due diligence and securing financing (if necessary), you’ll sign the final purchase agreement. The contract is usually signed in front of a notary. At this stage, you’ll also make the full payment for the property.
Registration of the Property
The final step is to register the property with the Public Registry of Georgia. This official registration makes you the legal owner of the property. Your lawyer or real estate agent can help facilitate this process.
